Sweet Spot Madarao is the perfect lodge to visit all year round, whether you are a keen skier or snowboarder, day walker, mountain biker, or just would like an incredible change of scenery and a place to get away. We are very close to everything you would need for a fantastic stay.
Location:
The lodge is under a 10 minute walk to the village and ski runs.
Breakfast room:
We offer a complimentary continental style breakfast every morning from 7:30am. Which includes cereals, toast, pastries, fresh fruit, juice, tea and coffee.
Loungeroom:
There is a comfortable communal loungeroom where you can relax at the end of each day, and a set of comfortable recliner chairs, and a television. A new dry room will ensure all your equipment will be warm and ready when you venture out to the mountain each morning.
Storeroom:
Underneath the house is a large secure storeroom for you to keep your skis and boards if needed.
Rooms:
Whether you stay in the separate rooms or adjoining room, each have underfloor heating, a very comfortable single or double bed, and well-appointed bathroom with instant gas hot water.
Ski Lessons:
Andrew is a Level 2 snow board instructor. We can offer ski or snowboard lessons, please enquire for further information.
Shuttle Service:
We offer a complimentary shuttle service if needed each morning to the ski runs, and also transfers from Iiyama station, which is only about 20 minutes away. There are also buses available from the Iiyama station to Madarao Village too.
Green Season:
The ‘Green Season’ in Madarao allows our guests the opportunity to experience the wonderful nature of the mountains. From hiking to mountain biking, fishing and a local golf resort the summer season in really has it all.
